CompareMate collects the information you provide when you register (email, name), data about how you use the app (searches, comparisons, saved reports), and optional feedback you submit. We do not collect payment card numbers — those go directly to Stripe.

2. How We Use It

We use your data to provide the comparison service, improve our AI recommendations, send product update notifications (only if you opt in), and process subscriptions via Stripe.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the app (e.g., Stripe for payments, AI providers for comparisons). All providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in and anonymous analytics to understand how the product is used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Comparison history is kept for up to 12 months.

6. Beta Disclaimer

This is a beta product. Data practices may evolve. We will notify registered users of any material changes to this policy.
